The Associates participates in two leagues: the Nikkei Youth Basketball Association (NYBA) and the Asian Community Basketball Association (ACBA). The Associates’ participation in the NYBA and ACBA leagues provides a vehicle for developing basketball skills, healthy competition, teamwork, sportsmanship and friendships within our community. Both leagues have divisions for 4th grade through high school. The league high school teams are for boys who do not play on their high school basketball team. NYBA games are held in San Francisco and in the South Bay December through February. ACBA games are held in San Francisco and the East Bay September through November
